State Innovation and Transformation Aayog was constituted by renaming State Planning Board on 28^th November 2016 as per Government of Assam Notification No. PDS. 45/98/213 dated 28^th November, 2016. It is headed by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Assam as Chairman and a full time Vice-Chairman (of Cabinet Minister rank), a full time Co-Vice Chairman(of Minister of State Rank) and a Chief Executive Officer. State Innovation and Transformation Aayog has been registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 on 12^th March, 2019.
